Driver's Ed Rates

The rate for the standard course is $420.

This includes the eight hour class with six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. ($500 includes road test.) Accept cash or check payable Richard Zimmer. For more information see the instruction page.

Shorter course for 17-year-olds and adults available.

Single 1:20-hour driving lesson ($80) is available to provide the basics for road test: Parallel park, 3-point turn, backing, parking on hill. If confident, can then launch into road test for $80 extra ($160 total). Note: This alone will not meet insurance discount requirements, but can with an additional 4:40 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and 8-hour classroom for an additional $340. Third Party Test (TPT) Program

Dutch Fork Driving School offers the road test with the driving school car for $80 cash.  Being a one-man show, it’s a lot less nerve-wracking when the examiner is the same as the instructor.

The written test for the learner’s permit is offered for $30 cash, with a free retest if the student returns next day.
